" When our family decided to build our first home in the spring of 2009, the decision on which home builder to use was not hard. Powers LLC had a well known name in the business and a large portion of the market share in the Clarksville Montgomery County area. These two things along with a really great group of project managers really made the decision easy. You always hear how horrible the home building process is and how it tests your relationship with your spouse. The preparation that the Powers LLC team put in up front on the home building process really made a difference. The whole process was smooth and quite enjoyable for our family. Our project manager was Chris Ezell. Chris was always on time, professional, and most importantly always did what he said he was going to do. When ever we have had a request for Chris and the Powers LLC team they have always been responsive, whether it was during the building process or after completion. . When our home was complete, we had exactly what we had dreamed of. We have truly enjoyed our new home and its construction every day since we moved in. " In the spring of 2008 we decided to sell our home and build another one. We spoke with Jody Fields at Clay Powers LLC about this. When a neighbor of ours committed to buying our home I called Jody and told him to start the process. The next day he was moving dirt on the lot we had chosen. We met with Jody and Chris Ezell to pick our brick, roof, ect. Chris and Jody worked really well together. Jody on the construction and Chris in helping us choose and coordinate our colors for the outside. He gave us several suggestions on the stone and how to place it around the windows, which we really liked. Jody surprised us with several things to our liking, the covered deck and the storage room under the house. Also, something that seems minor but was noticeable was coordinating the vents under the house to match the mortar. We talked about our needs as “soon to be retired.” We wanted a home on one level with a bonus room over the garage, but with few steps as possible. Jody knew the lay of the land would determine how many steps would be needed and helped us pick a lot to make this happen. We only have 3 steps to the bonus room. Also in planning for retirement we wanted our storage area in the attic with a walk through door. The Powers Team allowed us to be involved and make decisions in every phase of construction. We felt our home was built with the finest materials but yet cost efficient. The construction was kept on schedule and finished when promised. Their crew was efficient after we moved in to take care of the little things that need attention after a home is built. Another aspect of building a home is the closing. It went as scheduled and was planning on building a new home. "
